Classic Cooking Class

The familiar format, and the one most events choose. A set list of recipes, a theme that runs through the whole activity, and at the end a full meal that is all yours.

The classes are based on a pre-planned list of recipes, built around a cuisine or a style of cooking. Every class is hands-on, with your full participation in preparing the dishes — each participant personally prepares several of them. At the end you sit down to a rich and varied meal, the fruit of your own work. You choose the cuisine — Italian, Asian, meat, Indian, healthy cooking and more — and we adapt it to the group and to kashrut.

  • A big meal at the end, with more food than you would believe you managed to cook

Knife Fight

The competitive format. You split into teams, each team gets a chef of its own and identical ingredients, and you cook a gourmet meal head to head. A multimedia system shows the clock and the judging on the screens.

The Knife Fight is designed for groups and organizations that want to bond and to encourage cooperation among the participants. You split into teams (two or more, depending on the size of the group), receive identical ingredients, and compete in preparing a rich gourmet meal together with the chefs — each team gets a chef of its own. The format works better the larger the group: two teams is the minimum, and it only gets more interesting from there.

Shuk & Cook

An extension of our cooking classes — both the classic class and the Knife Fight. You buy the ingredients at the market together with the chef, stop to taste at several stalls, and then come back to us for a cooking class with what you bought.

An urban outdoor team activity: a tasting tour of the Hatikva Market, shopping for the ingredients at the market, and then a cooking class at the studio based on what was bought. You plan the shopping list together with the chef, and the actual shopping depends, of course, on what is fresh at the market that day — so the menu is not fixed in advance.

Urban Quest in Sarona

Start the day with a quest in the Sarona compound. You split into small teams and solve riddles and missions, using clues and characters you meet along the way. The last riddle leads the participants, as a surprise, to a cooking class.

An escape-room-style quest — but unlike a traditional escape room, it takes place in the open urban setting of Sarona Park, Sarona Market and the Montefiore neighbourhood, and includes a stop for coffee and something sweet. Participants are divided into teams of 5–7. Each team has to solve riddles, find clues, meet real characters stationed in the street and in Sarona Market, and move on to the next mission at every stage. The missions call for creativity, cleverness, teamwork and problem-solving. This is the only activity on the list with no cooking in it, and it can be combined with a class at the studio afterwards.

Cocktail Class

Working individually or in small groups, participants make five kinds of cocktails — sangria, mojito, cosmopolitan and more — guided by a chef and mixologist.

An active, fun cocktail-making class in which the participants mix five kinds of cocktails themselves. The cocktails on our list: sangria, mojito, cosmopolitan, tropical sour, banana colada and ice vanilla. Many groups take it as an opener to a cooking class rather than instead of one — you can do both.
