Our chefs
The classes are led by the studio's regular team of chefs and pastry chefs, joined by guest chefs with their own specialities.

Ziv Steinberg
A graduate of the Tadmor culinary school, with further culinary training in Israel and abroad. Heads the studio's culinary team, and leads the meat classes himself.

Shlomi Falah
A graduate of the Tadmor school. Began his career as a chef at the Italian restaurant Amore Mio. He designed the studio's Indian cooking class.

Amir Schuler
Studied cooking in Italy and trained in restaurants in Naples and Rome. Has specialised in Italian cuisine for some twenty years, and brings a Mediterranean approach to the fish classes. Also trained in butchery, and leads a variety of meat classes.

Yafit Carmi
Studied pastry and went on to professional training in Perpignan, France. Worked in several chef restaurants and previously ran a large catering company. Leads cooking and pastry classes.

Barak Kedmi
Over 25 years in the restaurant business, including managing a restaurant in Los Angeles. Has been leading cooking classes and courses for more than 10 years.

Shay Zemler
Formerly a chef at Asian restaurants, and a partner in a Mexican restaurant. A culinary consultant on Asian cuisine, with over 12 years of kitchen experience.

Michael Narkis
A graduate of the Tadmor cooking school who went on to work in leading chef restaurants, and founded a private-chef and boutique-events company. Leads hands-on classes in a range of cuisines.

Mayer Haggagiag
Started out in professional kitchens, and later moved into teaching, events and private dinners. Specialises in a range of cuisines, including Asian, Mediterranean, fish and meat.

Yogev Shapira
A chef who has been leading cooking classes for more than a decade. His connection to Japanese and Asian cuisine was formed in the years he lived in Osaka, where he worked and learned in Japanese restaurants, and later in leading kitchens in Israel.

Maayan Reich
Studied cooking and went on to work in chef restaurants for fifteen years. Believes that food brings people together.

Iris Eljam
A pastry chef with more than 15 years of experience, who has worked in and managed leading patisseries in Israel.

Ran Avshalom
A graduate of the Tadmor school who has been working in kitchens since the age of 16, and once owned a sushi restaurant. Has been leading cooking classes for more than 7 years.

Naama Bekerman
A graduate of the Bishulim school in Tel Aviv. Formerly the head pastry chef of the Sitara restaurant in Tel Aviv.

Michal Badihi
A pastry chef on the studio's regular team, specialising in classic French baking: shortcrust pastry, yeast dough, and pastries both sweet and savoury.

Nir Agassi
A graduate of Tadmor with 15 years of kitchen experience, in restaurants in Israel and abroad.

Evyatar Huri
Ten years of experience in Asian cuisine. Works as a culinary consultant and builds menus for large restaurants around the country, and teaches courses and classes at leading schools in Israel.

Sharon Gabbai
A culinary consultant and restaurateur who has set up restaurants and builds menus. Has been teaching cooking for over 20 years.

Nathan Spivak
Specialises in the cuisines of South-East Asia, and brings the distinctive ingredients of the Thai kitchen to his classes, carefully adjusted to the Israeli palate.

Haim Dahan
Developed a cooking hobby alongside his university studies, and turned it into a profession. Gained experience in several prominent restaurants in Israel.

Yigal Mulner
A chef on the regular team, specialising in large cuts and in pairing meat with beer and wine. His meat and beer classes start late and run into the night.
Lior Moshe
A graduate of Tadmor and of Dan Gourmet. Specialises in classic European, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, meat and fish.
Goldi Engelshtein
A graduate of the Dan Hotels cooking school, and formerly a chef at several restaurants and cafés. Specialises in a wide range of cuisines, including Italian, Asian, Japanese and American, and in pastry too.

Ruth Saraf
26 years of experience in restaurants, events and menu building. Specialises in Italian, French, healthy and vegan cooking.

Micha Tavor
A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and the owner of a private patisserie. An expert in bread baking and in developing bread and baking recipes, and an instructor at leading schools in Israel.

Chai Levi
A graduate of the Tadmor school who also completed a professional bread course. Gained experience in restaurants, and later moved into the world of boulangerie and breads.
