Dim Sum Class
The world of dim sum, from the dough to the fold. A variety of dumplings with different fillings, and alongside them a rich wonton soup.

Hand-folded dumplings, and wonton soup
Hand-folded dumplings, from the dough to the steamer: chicken and beef gyoza, chicken and onion dumplings, sweet potato and mushroom shumai, steamed bao buns with slow-cooked pulled beef, and wonton soup — with meat, and also in a vegetarian and vegan version. We prepare the fillings, learn folding and shaping techniques, and put the soup together, from the dumplings to serving. For dessert, banana tempura in salted caramel sauce.
The class is hands-on, and the participants prepare most of the dishes themselves. At the end we sit down together to a full meal of everything that was made.
Good to know: This is a meat class. The wonton soup and the bao buns have a vegetarian and vegan version, and the dumplings have vegetarian fillings, by prior arrangement. All the dishes contain gluten. Please tell us about allergies and dietary needs when you register.
Language: Our classes are taught in Hebrew. You can get the recipes in English — and also in French, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Arabic — and the chef will also answer individual questions in English.
