Indian Cooking Class
Indian cuisine, adjusted to the Israeli palate: thirteen vegetarian dishes, from pakora and samosa to dal, malai kofta and gulab jamun.

Indian cuisine, adjusted to the Israeli palate
The class was designed by chef Shlomi Falah, who specialises in Indian cuisine. We get to know the ingredients that are unique to the Indian kitchen, learn to bloom spices and work with them, make the doughs for chapati and samosa, deep-fry pakora, and cook a range of dishes, from dal to malai kofta. Everything is vegetarian, and adjusted to the Israeli palate.
The class is hands-on, and the participants prepare most of the dishes themselves. At the end we sit down together to a full meal of everything that was made.
Good to know: This is a dairy, vegetarian class: the lassi and the raita are yogurt-based. Vegan by prior arrangement. Please tell us about allergies and dietary needs when you register.
Language: Our classes are taught in Hebrew. You can get the recipes in English — and also in French, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Arabic — and the chef will also answer individual questions in English.
